Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman made the remark in a Saturday meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah al-Zawawi, adding the Palestinian issue is the main and central issue of the Muslim world; “as such, all capacities must be employed to resolve the current crisis,” he said.
“The Islamic Republic will continue its policy on advocating the principle of dialogue to settle the problems and will continue giving its support to internal discussions among various conflicted parties in the region with the aim of ending the present crises,” Jaber-Ansari added.
The Palestinian envoy, for his part, noted that the current situation in the Arab and Muslim world is deteriorational to the Palestinian issue, stressing that “the Zionist enemy aims to strike a blow to the strong points of the Muslim world.”
Al-Zawawi further deemed the current situation in Yemen ‘catastrophic’, while urging Yemeni-Yemeni dialogues for settling the conflict and inviting major Islamic countries to engage in dialogues with one another in a bid to resolve Islamic world’s issues.
